Mental Health Awareness Training

Looking after your mental health training
We shared the terribly sad news on Facebook on Friday about one of our former Brecon Beacons Tourism Board members Sam Dodd. Our thoughts are with Sam’s family and friends right now. She was a valuable member of our board as well as an active member of her local community in Abergavenny. She will be greatly missed.

We know you are all going through really tough times at the moment with so much uncertainly, but please do reach out and seek help if needed.   No matter how tough the situation you find yourself in PLEASE reach out to those around you if you are able or give the Samaritans a call, they are available to talk to 365 days a year, day or night.  www.samaritans.org

We challenge you all to drop a fellow business a call or message if you haven’t heard from them in a while, just to see how they are, check in and let them know you are thinking of them and there if they need you, we all need to look out for each other.

As mental health matters just as much as your physical health, Brecon Beacons Tourism has arranged a free mental health awareness course with Call of the Wild Mental Health Awareness training with Fran Burrows from Call of the Wild –  16th June 10am (lasting 1 hour)
