Mitchell Meredith have issued a further newsletter that gives more details on eligibility and applying for the Self-Employment Income Support Scheme. The scheme will be open for claims by invitation between 13th May & 18th May, with payments 6 days after application if you are successful. Make sure you have logged in to your HMRC online gateway before then to ensure your contact details are up to date.
There are strong warnings that you may well receive scam emails, texts or phone calls claiming they are from HMRC, so please ensure you only submit any personal details through their secure online gateway.
